Privacy Policy: Non-Profit CFO Roundtable
The Non-Profit CFO Roundtable (cfogroups.com) is hosted by me, Neil Shah, Founder of Non-Profit Finance Solutions. This page explains in plain language what information I collect through this site, what I do with it, and the choices you have.
What I collect
- When you apply: your first and last name, email, current title, non-profit organization name and website, LinkedIn profile URL, years in your current role, your organization's annual budget range, your biggest current challenge, and whether you can commit to the session schedule. If you choose, you can also tell me how you heard about the Roundtable and anything else you'd like me to know. The form also records the date and time you submit.
- When you visit: the site doesn't ask for anything else. Like any website, the hosting service (Vercel) automatically receives basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, when the page loads.
- If you message me on LinkedIn, I see what you send me there. LinkedIn's own privacy policy applies to those messages.
How I use it
- To review your application for the January 2027 cohort and to contact you about it. I ask for your LinkedIn profile and organization website to confirm your role.
- If I can't offer you a seat this time, to consider you for a future cohort.
- If you join, to run the cohort, for example sending you the session schedule and details. I share your name, title and organization with the other members of your cohort.
Who sees it
- Only me. I read every application myself.
- The companies that run the tools I use (Google for the application form and spreadsheet, Vercel for the website) process the information only to provide their services to me, under their own privacy terms.
- I don't share your application with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
Where it is stored
When you click Submit, your answers are sent through Google Apps Script into a Google Sheet in my own Google account (a personal Google account). The website itself is hosted on Vercel and does not keep a copy of your application. There is no other database.
How long I keep it
- If you aren't offered a seat, I delete your application within 12 months after applications close on December 18, 2026, so by December 18, 2027.
- If you join, I keep your application while the cohort runs (January through December 2027) and delete it within 12 months after the cohort ends.
- You can ask me to delete it sooner at any time (see Your choices).
What I don't do
- I never sell, rent or trade your information.
- I don't use cookies, analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this site.
- I don't add you to a mailing list or newsletter, and I don't use your application to market Non-Profit Finance Solutions or any other product or service to you.
- In sessions: what's said in the room stays in the room. There is no recording, transcription or AI note-taking by anyone, including me, and members agree to treat what others share as confidential.
Your choices
- Optional questions on the form are truly optional; leave them blank if you prefer.
- To see what I have about you, correct it, withdraw your application, or have it deleted, message me on LinkedIn (). I'll reply within 14 days.
